Praise Team meets on Wednesday nights. The purpose of the Praise Team is to praise and worship God through song. They are a group of all ages that love music and all that music can bring to a worship service. They enjoy learning new songs and teaching them to the congregation. They look for lyrics that speak to our hearts and will bring us into an attitude pleasing to God. They try to introduce each song with scripture and background on why they chose that particular song. There are currently 17 members ranging in age from 10-60+ both male and female. A keyboard, drums, guitar, bass guitar, tambourine, and violin accompany them. The Praise Team practices weekly and leads worship once a month September through May. They use PowerPoint to project the words on the screen in front of the sanctuary for everyone to sing along.
